Warlord is expanding their line of 28mm Dacian figures, which is very nice of them since I'm frantically trying to finish a Dacian army for the "Hail Caesar" demo game I'm GM'ng at Historicon this coming July.
I do like the center figure with the bald head and two swords.
There are even rumors of Sarmatian heavy cavalry in the offing.
Must get back to painting - only 203 figures lift to finish...
203 figure left to finis, we never say the number, from there comes depression.
ReplyDeleteGot to admit I was pretty keen to get more Warlords Miniatures after this weeks news letters.
ReplyDeleteI plan to add Dacians, EIR Auxiliaries boxed set and the plastic Scorpion set to my Ancients Armies.
I might even look at the Clash of Empire Rules vs my WAB rules.
It's a great time to be playing historical wargaming :)
Happy Gaming,
Allan
The Dacian infantry box put out by Warlord is a really nice set and a clever way for them to reuse the Celt plastic sprues.
ReplyDeleteI haven't thought about "Clash of Empires" but may give it a try if the reviews continue to be good. I base all my minis individually to allow me to use different rule sets.
I do understand that naming the number is a no-no but I'm making progress (it used to be 250).
Those look great - might able to use them in other armies too. Regards, Dean
ReplyDeleteThe Dacians do look quite appealing! Like you said the middle figure is awesome, wielding two falx's. Did I spell that right???
