This blog will will contain my rather pedantic ramblings on my experiences within the miniature war gaming hobby. There will be informative how-to’s, thrilling battle reports and thought provoking editorials. I fully expect that history will one day view the contents of this blog on par with Homer’s Illiad or Newton’s Principalia. Or it's a complete waste of time.
Congrats on the plunge. I spoke with a buddy & he was telling me that the figures did not scale with those from Imperial Assault...alas I will have to avoid this one, but will certainly enjoy watching your progress through them!
I'm getting sucked in too, but some of FFGs decisions are really rubbing me the wrong way with this game. We'll be giving it a try in my group for the next few months though. Looking forward to your progress Miles!
The scale change between IA and Legion is a pretty craven commercial move. I never got into Imperial Assualt so no real impact on me. Painting the larger scale figs will be a nice change of pace.
John - there will be a lot of Legion being played in St Micahels in a few weeks

I was looking at this yesterday. I figures two or three bases sets would probably do me. Just another £200 or so.
